Three People Hospitalized After Three-Car Crash

A three-car crash in Rudolph Township on Sunday sent three people to the hospital for their injuries. At around 8:30 p.m., Lindsay Younger was driving southbound with 7-year-old passenger Austin Swanson on State Highway 13/34 when she crossed the center line, crashing head-on into a vehicle traveling in the northbound lane. Kyle Schwerzel was driving the northbound vehicle with passenger Cory Kuliu. A third vehicle driven by Boleslaw Kochanowski then came upon the scene and struck the Younger vehicle. Spirit Helicopter was called to the scene and transported Younger and Swanson to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Schwerzel was transported by ambulance to Riverview Hospital for his injuries. Younger was cited for driving while impaired and driving left of the center line. The Wood County Sheriff’s Department investigation is ongoing.
